The village of Hautefort is built around the south side of the beautiful and imposing ‘Chateau de Hautefort’. Cobbled winding streets and steps and the stunning ‘Jardins à la Francaise’ offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, enchanting everyone who visits.

The Auvézère valley is an unspoilt area of hills, woods and pasture. Numerous hiking trails and gentle bike routes start from the village, winding through undulating hills and warm valleys, amongst the sweet smells of fruit and walnut trees and ancient oaks.

A boulangerie for your morning bread and pastries and a boucherie offering local meats and cheeses are a few minutes walk away from Rediat Cor. An épicerie and a weekly market in the village square sell organic fruit and vegetables and a few minutes drive away a well stocked supermarché caters for all your needs.

The culturally diverse region is a mosaic of varied landscapes, fascinating history and outstanding architecture.
